When creating After Effects projects for VE, you can only use certain types of asset files.

• Why does VE only support such limited file types.
  Because if we add more supported file types, we need to add more file decoders to VE SDK, that will make VE SDK bigger and bigger, slower and slower. So we only choose the most commonly used file types
