The main functions of editing SDK are achieved by two parts- tracks and special effects.

Tracks

A track represents an image , a video footage or a template footage from user.

Image can be rendered in real time with track, and multiple tracks can be spliced in time order or can be stacked in space.

Main Track

The main track is used to display main footages of users.Users can add one or several videos or images to main track to splice a video in time order.

PIP track

PIP track is used to display other footages of users.PIP track is similar to main track. It means users can upload their own videos or images to PIP track.More than one PIP tracks can exist simultaneously, which can be overlaid in space.

Text Track

Text track is used to display text contents.Users can add one or several text tracks at any time or any position. Besides, users also can add text style, text bubble or text animation to text tracks.

Sticker Track

Users can add stickers to their works on sticker track.The sticker templates with static or dynamic animation, which are designed by designers with After Effects and exported by Violet Engine Exporter for users, can be used on sticker track and added to Video Edit SDK projects.

Effects

Effects can be added to tracks. Users can add special effects or animations to footages on tracks.

Video Filter

Video filter is used to grade colors of videos or images from users. Designers can design filter templates with After Effects and use Violet Engine Exporter to export the templates with cooperation of editing videos via SDK.

Video Transition

Video transition is used to add transition to two different footages on main track. Usually, when a clip ends, it will be switched directly to the next clip. Video transition makes the switching process more dynamic and natural. Designers can use After Effects to design various transition effects and use Violet Engine Exporter to export the effects with cooperation of editing videos via SDK.

Video Animation

Video animation is used to add animation effects to videos or images such as entering animation, exit animation and loop animation etc.. Designers can design various animation effects with After Effects, and use Violet Engine Exporter to export the effects with cooperation of editing videos via SDK.

Video Special Effects

Video special effects are used to add special effects to videos or images such as mosaic and glitch effecs etc.. Designers can design various special effects with After Effects, and use Violet Engine Exporter to export the effects with cooperation of editing videos via SDK.
